Reverie

It's been a while, yes? Sigh! I'm semi out of my depression mode. One foot in, one foot out. Improving!

Anyways, this was a tough start to my day. Had to lecture my spawn on the importance of going to school as he was (or still is) in one of his lazy days. I sat my kid down into the car beside his nanny and then the driver drove of the car. And as I saw him off, it just suddenly hit me. I never had this as a kid.

When I was little, there had to be a major bickering between my parents before my dad would be forced to bring us to school. Or if push comes to shove, I'll be taking public transport with my mom or whoever. Until 6th grade when I've had enough of it that I chose to go to and fro by myself. Easier that way.

Today was so different. My kid had all these. Plus a pesky mom ranting to earth's end about the magnitude of pre-school education! God really has a way of turning things around... almost 30 years after... thanks to my mom! I really should express gratitude to her, yes? Probably on her birthday.
